TRIBUTE TO JANNIS KOUNELLIS
Jannis Kounellis, a leading figure of the Arte Povera Movement, has died at the age of 80.
Kounellis was a long time collaborator with ART for The World, who produced two major one-man shows of his works:
Jannis Kounellis, Isola di San Lazzaro degli Armeni, Venice during the 2003 Venice Biennale
and
Sante Fe by Jannis Kounellis, 1st Edizione d'arte del Lago Maggiore, 2005
In addition, Kounellis' works featured in many ART for The World group shows, including:
Donna Donne at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence, 2005/2006
FOOD, 2012 under the patronage of Expo 2015 at Musee Ariana, Geneva and
FOOD, 2014/2015 at MuCEM, Marseilles.
